2015 vExpert Program kickoff‏

vExpertToday VMware kicked off the 2015 vExpert program via the VMTN blog. The applications will be open starting today and will close on December 12th with the announcement on February 5th 2015. They will hold a second round of applications and voting but will not have Q1, Q2 and a Q3 this year, only a Q1 and Q2 announcement.

For the current vExperts you will only need to fill out the fastrack application and not the full application since we already have your application from 2014. In order to stay a vExpert we will review the applications for the activities you have been doing since your 2014 vExpert award. Couple of fields we added this year are the blog and RSS feed URLs and the country field. Yes, many of you have already provided this information but since we are using the highly organized and structured database called Excel we ask that you please provide it again, makes the record keeping easier.

Next year VMware hopes to have the vExpert applications in an app that will store all of your data and make the application and communication process that much better.

For now, please go and read the announcement and apply for the 2015 vExpert program via the fastback application. The full blog announcement by Corey Romero can be found at http://blogs.vmware.com/vmtn/2014/11/vexpert-2015-applications-open.html
